Mr. Jacques Cramer was born on the 16th day of May, 1934 in Nevis. His early schooling was in St. Kitts, the Fiji Islands and Tonga. His secondary schools were Lodge School in Barbados and Queen’s Royal College in Trinidad. Mr. Cramer has always been associated with business and commerce in St. Kitts and Nevis and is a former Director of A.M Losada which was one of the leading business places in Basseterre. Mr. Cramer is also one of the founders of T.D.C St. Kitts- Nevis-Anguilla Trading Development Company Limited, the largest commercial entity in St. Kitts and Nevis. He has also held Directorships in all TDC companies and is a Director of Ocean Terrance Inn Limited.
Mr. Cramer’s activities have also included membership of the public and police service commissions and as Chairman of the Eastern Caribbean Currency Authority forerunner of the eastern Caribbean central bank, ECCB. IN community and diplomatic service matters, Mr., Cramer is a charter member of the St. Kitts Rotary Club from its inception in 1969, is a former Jaycee Senator, Honorary Consul for Israel, and Warden for Canada. Mr. Cramer is a keen promoter of national development and has been instrumental in supporting areas of national endeavour.
Mr. JACQUES AURELIUS CRAMER is therefore presented with the Award star of Merit for Long and Meritorious Service.
